MacRae family tree at Eilean Donan castle

Saw this on a recent visit to Scotland….

Here’s another one:

This one has little drawings of places and notes about the ancestors. Males are denoted by solid circles and females by little leaf shapes. It’s very quirky which I like.

Check out the man with the mini-kilt wielding an unusually large club!

Visitors were not supposed to take photos but they gave me permission as I was so enthusiastic.

Good to know John’s widow got TWO pensions!
